Dear Colleagues,
A warm welcome to the 1st ESVS mastercl@ss live, the novel and innovative ESVS on air educational format for vascular specialists! This first event takes place from January 17-18, 2019 and will be streamed from Hamburg University CardioVascular Center, Germany. We kindly invite you and your whole team to join us on site in Hamburg or online via livestream and participate at this new ESVS format with us – online, face to face in Hamburg, or on demand.
15 internationally renowned Vascular Surgeons and specialists in this field will demonstrate invasive procedures and discuss their techniques and skills with a global podium. This first edition will cover supraaortic arterial diseases, where open, endovascular and hybrid state of the art procedures will be demonstrated. This new platform is intended as a true educational activity. All live cases, as well as edited procedures (videos) and state of the art lectures are webcasted. After postprocessing, the contents of this event will be available on demand at our homepage. It is intended to add further vascular territories in the next years, and herewith create a complementary online library/textbook for invasive vascular therapies. We think, that this unique educational concept will enable a comprehensive online learning opportunity and add to evidence and experience in our daily work. In addition to this, face to face discussions with the experts will be offered for a small group of 100 pax, coming to this event in person, to “meet the experts”. We intend to spread this concept to all our member countries: the first step to achieve this goal is a satellite meeting, taking place in Helsinki University Clinics/Finland: on the second day, this center will be connected with Hamburg, and local/national participants will participate at that place. Our intention is, to add more countries in the next years.
We are looking forward to welcoming you and your colleagues – on air or in Hamburg – join us at this unique educational event!
On behalf of the Scientific Organizing Committee, all active participants of this first edition and the Local Organizing Team,
Yours sincerely
